12th February 2008

: The first attempt at remotely commanding the elevator to move to a specific floor is planned. Further news will follow.

7th February 2008

: The first attempts at implementing external ECU control of the flow rig have been successfully implemented. A distributed temperature control loop has been implemented via ARM processors, communicating over a CAN network. Thanks to Jon at TTE Systems for working on this!

16th January 2008

: A second (ESL-based) research project with the Elevator has been started. This project not only aims to remotely program and test the elevator ECU, but also to allow debugging via the internet - an interesting concept!

14th December 2007

: First successful test of the remote elevator system. A hex file has been remotely flashed into the LPC2129, and feedback given to the user via a webcam. A promising start.
